Do you think age would really make a difference? What makes you think he was too young?

His story made me think of my attempted (presbyterian equivalent of) confirmation. (I didn't get confirmed because I wouldn't recite the creed in front of the congregation-- because I didn't believe a single word of it and didn't want to be insincere, and I told the preacher I thought it missed the point of Christ's teachings intirely. Hahaha, I had NO IDEA it would make everyone think I was the devil child from hell). But anyway, my point is I think I would have reacted that way at any age-- or it might have been a lot more rebellious if I was older-- it was just like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. I guess I'm assuming Dom would have had the same problems with confirmation at any age, too..
