doesnt it all seem like a bad bad movie to you?!

I wish i could wake up tomorrow and the tv wouldnt be filled with all those horrible pictures..

the thing is, i've been talking to my parents about these disasters for AGES. i've always been saying that its gonna get worse and worse with the people not caring enough!!

what exactly does it mean when a state calls out a state of martial law? im not asking for a translation, but for an explanation what it means for the people...

Martial Law means that the Natioal guard can now be called up to help local law inforcement. Also there would now be a curfew imposed for everyone. Helps suposedly to cut down on luting, which I don't think worked in New Orleans.
