So, Flo says I need to watch Buffy.. All 7 seasons of it. He was rather offended hearing that I hadn't seen any of it.

Others on my flist are gushing over the Winchester brothers, while the rest is slashing Dr House with some other cute Doctors.. I need to improve *lol*

And I still have Prison Break and the second season of Gilmore Girls on my PC..

Erm...Tara? I love Tara, she's my favourite character together with Spike. So that would make it Tara, and Spike. (Even if Spike was also in the earlier seasons). The first three series aren't really bad, it's just that...they were a bit too "childish", I guess. *hides from angry Buffy fans*

Of course you should watch Buffy. That nearly counts as general knowledge. ;)

And right after that Supernatural and Prison Break. Or you know, first SPN and PB and then Buffy because, yep, 7 seasons.

I heard that House is brilliant and I saw everything of Gilmore Girls already but I have S1 and S1 here as well and planned on watching them some time again.

dude. BUFFY! of course!!! But House is cool, too. In fact, all the shows you listed are stuff that I would recommend, EXCEPT for Supernatural which just plain sucks.
But you should definitely start with Buffy. It's essential.

Can't say anything about "House" and "Gilmore Girls", but yeah... go and watch "Prison Break" and "Buffy" which both are fun. :D But not "Supernatural", which is just a unimaginative rehash of the weakest "X-Files"-episodes. Probably the most boring show I've ever seen in my whole life, and I really mean it.

Prison Break! And just be happy that you have the entire season and won't have to wait excrutiatingly long weeks for each next episode. That one got me moaning out loud out of tension (not to mention other reason for moaning.

I either dislike or haven't seen any of those series, so I have no real choice but to recommend something else. I don't really like Buffy at all, personally, but I'm interested myself in seeing House, if only because it has Bertie Wooster (Hugh Laurie) in it. Speaking of British comedy, if you haven't seen Are You Being Served?, I'd recommend it wholeheartedly. But if you want a drama, Six Feet Under is the way to go.
