yes. the actress got pregnant and wanted to be with her family or something...they knew she wanted out of her contract, the original plan was to have her in like 10 episodes or so, but she didn't want to do it like that. Or something. I read an interview with a producer guy the day after the episode aired, and he explained it in more detail... omg that just... sucks royally! And why didn't Sarah just tell them "Full season or nothing," if she was that upset by their plans? I mean I've only seen the finale of S2 and a good part of S1 (missed the first few episodes), and it's not like I approve of their plans to kill her off and I understand that she would have been upset... but good God at least make the best of it, also for the character's and the series' sake!
