Here's a movie maybe you haven't seen-- it's called "The Center of the World" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0240402/
I think it's rated nc-17. It's angsty, emotionally intense (quite devastating, actually), and hot.

You might also like Laurel Canyon-- it's not so much a love story, but has elements of that-- and it reminds me of Dom.

Oh, you *must* see casablanca! you won't be disappointed!

It's hard to explain why Laurel Canyon reminds me of Dom... I guess first off it reminds me of the lifestyle there in the Hollywood Hills, hanging out and making music, that I can imagine Dom being a part of. And Alessandro Nivola's character reminds me of Dom in the way he's really charismatic, sexy in an offbeat sort of way, he has the British accent and the cuffs... I mentioned once on a forum that I could see Dom playing his part in that movie, and ever since then, the connection has just stuck in my mind.

I actually have some more recs for you, but I don't want to post them on lj. I guess I could email them, or I could post then delete a comment if IM won't work..
