The rest of this year is gonna be awesome! I know it!

I just talked to my Eva, who made a reservation for the Park Inn in Munich. She's still working at the hotel were I worked in Bochum and we'll be getting a special family&friends rate. Its a 4**** Hotel only a few kms from the venue Franz Ferdinand will be playing..

My shifts for december also look pretty decent. I'll be driving down to my parents' on Dec 23rd and coming back on Dec 27th..
Before that there are still some awesome concerts coming up.. ( apart from the special Franz gig..)
Rufus Wainwright tonight, Jamie Cullum on Wednesday and Michael Bublé and Mark Owen in December..

James Blunt and Jack Johnson will be starting off the new year concert season some time in January ;)

Right now. Boredom at work, but am majorly excited about Rufus tonight ;D

She's waiting to get inside at the Gavin deGraw concert...

Some girls organized numbers for the people waiting outside the venue..so that if you need to pee or something you can always get back into the line where you were before.
Wonderful for me, who always needs to go 5 seconds before they let people in *LOL*

I wish I could be there right now. OK, I am excited to see Rufus.. but Gavin?!

The Wishlist Meme

Step One:
Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ.
The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Monaboyd icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two:
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My wishlist, in no particular order:
1. Monaboyd first-time fic.. also angsty, smutty or fluffy ;D
2. Icons ( of my pics?) with funny/original text on them :)
3. Franz Ferdinand songs that are not on their CD'S, b-sides, live clips.. ( yousendit's fine ;)
4. Cards, letters, or postcards. I love getting mail.
5. Again.. A picture of you holding a sign "I ♥ Nora"
6. Glossy celeb magazines
7. Something glittery
8. Nick McCarthy fic ( het or slash..)
9. Gavin deGraw, naked in my living room, playing the piano for me..
