anyone on my flist who liked War of the Worlds?
I really had high expectations but in my opinion it SUCKED.. BIG TIME..
Tom Cruise didnt touch me in any way, Dakota Fanning was cool but horribly dubbed and the whole story was just .. BLEH..
Tom's son looked nice, though *checks imdb* LOL

also, annika didnt show up :( .. for once i didnt have my mobile with me and later found out that she texted me twice, to tell me she's meeting her boyfriend ( new boyfriend, the one from the meet&greet)..
kinda sad to be stood up, though a little understandable.. love's great isnt it??!
she could've called after i didnt answer on 2 messages, right?
instead we waited for 25 mins in front of the theater..

Hab den Film noch nicht gesehen, möchte ihn aber noch sehen. Oder ist er so schlecht, daß ich lieber auf DVD warte sollte ?
Das mit Annika finde ich wirklich unglaublich. :-) Wie im Film !

als ich hätte mir das geld lieber gespart, allerdings kommt so ein action film auf dvd wahrscheinlich noch schlechter rüber..

I watched it in English so I can't say if she was badly dubbed, but I couldn't agree more about the movie. It was awful. How bad was the end? Seriously. Germs? Right.

I LOVE WOTW!!!!! But I've heard many who didn't.
And OMG, you watched the dubbed version, how could you!?
lol, see I had been posting that I need a Justin Chatwin (Tom's son in the movie) site. He was great. Well, I loved everything about the movie actually.
So sorry to hear you got stood up. I always have to go alone to the cinema so I'm always stood up. lol

Naja, ich habe mir schon nach dem ersten Trailer gedacht, dass der Film Mist ist. Was kann schon dabei rauskommen, wenn Steven Spielberg und Tom Cruise einen Film drehen??? *grinz*

Naja, ist ja schon die übliche Geschichte, oder? Böhöööse Außerirdische wollen uns plattmachen.... uuuh! So wie in "Independence Day" - nicht wirklich neu, diese Idee.

Da schau ich mir lieber solche Filme wie "Madagascar" an, da hab ich schon beim Trailer am Boden gelegen vor Lachen.

All in all it was ok. For me anyway. But only because I love Dakota so much and in Romania we don't dub movies so I watched the original. And we can't blame Steven Spielberg for the ending, it's all because of the book!! ;) Robbie was cute but OMG SO ANNOYING DIE ALREADY. :D

I liked it, but then again i am a little odd. Some of the boys in the audience said that they thought it sucked as they were leaving. I'm not a TC fan myself.
