"The Family Stone".. one of the best christmas/family movies I've seen in a long long time!
stefsoleil both came out of the theater with tears in our eyes and a smile on our faces!
Sarah Jessica Parker plays Carrie, though she's called Meredith in the movie *lol*..
Near the end, one could speak of a "showdown" I nearly choked cos I laughed AND cried so hard.
Unbelievable. I never expected it to be that good! Wonderfully cast, even the smallest supporting role.
( yeah.. the spoilers and the tears )

Dec. 16th, 2005 01:00 pmI am sho sho tired, you guys.
Early shifts + exhausting munich trips + work christmas party + cinema = Deadly tired Nora!
My room is a mess. I haven't even unpacked my suitcase from Tuesday, and I can already pack it for tomorrow.. Jeez..
Haven't really seen Tom the last days. He's a mess, cos he failed an important exam that he studied for really really hard and long *poor baby*
But it's just tomorrow until 2 pm and then we'll get on the train to Bochum.. From the train station is directly to Sprockhövel to his granddad's 93rd birthday. Mmmmh-lots of yummy food and the wonderful gay cousin *lol*.
Then on Sunday I'll see my parents again *squeee*.. Haven't seen them in over 2 1/2 months, which would've been impossible a few years ago.
We already get back to Berlin on Monday ( I have a late shift, starting at 2 ), so yeah.. those are my plans..
( some therapy thoughts )
