MY 2005

I've been wanting to do my review of 2005 for ages now, but I felt like waiting a little longer.. and, there you go, the year's nearly over by now

2005 was pretty special to me. I was OK in 2004.. Living my own, independent, grown up ( most of the time:.) life, but I felt miserable about my therapy situation and unsure about what to do with my life and self.

It's weird how your whole situation can change with a few months..
At the end of 2004 I met Annika ( blavandgirl ) again, who turned out to be one of the most precious and most beloved persons I have ever met. She is making Berlin so much better for me.

Same goes for stefsoleil, whom I met on July 6th while waiting for Dom :D and evil_trisha and her Berlin - Gang who where brought to me by a bunch of gay boys :D

(feb/march)
I went to the US of A for the first time, which I absolutley loved!
Tom and I had the time of our lives.
We were all over New York City, then flew to Florida ( Sanibel Island, Miami, Orlando, Key West and Fort Myers ). We did most of the fun parks in Orlando, had the best food, swam with dolphins and stuff like that.

Coming back work sucked bigtime.. and I had a few down moments.. but looking back they seem to disappear
met lots of cool people, went to see lots of cool movies and then..

(july)
OMG there was Dom..
It was the chance of a lifetime. A meet and greet with him and Evi.
You've all lived through the pain before the winning with me and I love you for it.
It was such a big big impossible dream and then he was there and we talked and we hugged and it was just the most special moment..

Other men in my life in 2005?!
I met and fell in love with Gavin deGraw..( So I had to travel to Amsterdam with stefsoleil to see him again *lol*)
Same goes for Jamie Cullum, who played a church concert and simply rocked my socks..
Big surprise was meeting Franz Ferdinand after their show in November. They were amazingly nice and wonderful and I swear Nick wanted to sleep with Annika!!!

Christian Bale also paid a short visit to Berlin and called me Gloria :D

Lowpoints in 2005?
Katrina and the London bombing were only 2 big sad things . I know there was much more, but those 2 affected me most..
Also, my short visit to the hospital after painful weeks with my fucked up gallbladder that had to be taken out..

other Highlights in 2005?
*My London trip with Tom, incl a date with the now married littlepixii
*My Lübeck trip with Eva
*My Munich trip with Annika.. I know the concert was probably not worth it, but the trip was way cool, it also included snogging seeing the_flo and skylar_muc .. so yeah..
*The *sold-out-within-seconds* Robbie Williams concert ..

One more thing.. I've tried to explain the wonders of LJ to other people and failed every time ..
It is really special to me and although we cannot really get to know each other as good as we want to, you guys really mean a lot to me.
You have helped me, laughed with me, cried with me and been with me through a lot.
YOu probably know more about me than various friends.. And that alone draws you close!
I feel so much love and gratitude and I wish each and everyone of you all the best for 2006!
